Our support group in Burke County is off to a good start.  We meet once a week and our group is slowly growing with women who attend regularly. 
     I was invited by Jefferson County DFCS Office to educate Foster Parents on the dynamics of domestic violence and the effect it has on children.  Many children who live in abusive homes are placed in Foster Care; therefore, it is important for Foster Parents to understand how domestic violence affects the children they care for. 
     We are also busy preparing for our quarterly DFCS Training, which will be held in Burke County this time.
