The SAFEhome's speakers bureau can provide community organizations with a variety of programs designed to heighten awareness of the problem and explore ways in which we can actively work toward the elimination of abuse in our community.

Professionals (e.g. police, nurses, sheriffs, doctor, counselors, ministers) are often key people in helping a battered victim. The fear, isolation, shame, and lack of economic resources often trap them in an abusive situation that has no easy solutions.

The speakers bureau works with professionals to both identify the resources available in the community and to explore the special needs of abuse victims.
